Society welcomes you to our website. Here, you will find the story of our village
over the last 1000 years; the names, events and stories that contributed
to the making of the village as we know it. It draws on many sources which you can follow up and, as more information becomes available, the site will grow. We would be very interested to hear from anyone who can contribute to the site. If you have old pictures, stories, information about the village, something in your home which could be photographed, knowledge of how the village developed, ideas for links, in fact anything which could shed light on how our village has changed over the years.
